This dishcloth is made in Lithuania from a blend of linen and cotton.
It has excellent quick-drying and water-absorbing properties, with little fluffiness and no fibers left behind, making it suitable for wiping tables and cooking utensils, and for wiping dishes after they have been washed.
The taut texture of the cloth feels a little stiff at first use, but as it is washed, it gradually becomes softer and more comfortable to the touch.
It can be used in various situations other than around the kitchen.
For example
As a drainer for dishes
As a pot mat
As a pot holder
As a blindfold for sudden visitors or to keep dust out of home appliances.
As a luncheon mat
Cautions for use
There may be some unevenness in the weave, brown fiber knots, or threads that are called "neps", but this is a characteristic of the fabric and is not a defect.
Sewing threads, fiber smell, adhesion of other fibers, and folding wrinkles are not defective.
Size may vary by 2 to 3 cm.
